We were so close to meeting so many times. We had several opportunities, invited to the same place with the same people, we were just never there at the same time. We have countless mutual friends, from countless different places in our lives. Mutual friends from: high school, summer camp staff, adulthood, but we’d never actually met.

One of our wonderful friends had a feeling that the time was finally right when Jordan, a baseball player, was finally back from his season and was ready settle back into life in Colorado. She threw out a simple question to the two of us. “Would you be willing to go on a date?” It was an easy yes - with all the random connections and the fact that we still hadn’t met, the odds of seeing one another again if it didn’t work out were next to zero.

Jordan got Molly’s phone number, and we found a time to meet for drinks, dinner, and conversation, which is very typical for first dates. What wasn’t typical is that the first time we looked at our watches it was midnight! Needless to say our first date was a success! After such an incredible first date, our relationship has continued to grow and into an adventurous, warm, and easy one.

On June 9th, 2018, after a year and a half of dating, Jordan proposed on a hike in Rocky Mountain National Park.  Nobody knew, especially Molly, that this was happening. (She complained the whole hike.) Again, it was an easy yes.

We are thrilled to be getting married and we are honored you will share in our special day. Thank you for the roles you have played in each of our lives, and for supporting us as we begin our marriage!
